聽 到這首歌，先不看歌詞、不探討歌詞背後意境，光看歌名就好，你想到什麼？相信多數的男孩子會想到:”是在描寫一個很漂亮的女孩子吧？”那到底這首歌是為什 麼而寫？靈感來自哪裡？當初也是個引發許多討論的話題了，媒體也紛紛做出許多猜測，針對這個疑問，Blunt在06年在節目接受訪問時，曾做了這樣的回 答:” It's kind of miserable. It was about seeing my ex-girlfriend on the Underground in London with her new man, who I didn't know existed. She and I caught eyes and lived a lifetime in that moment, but didn't do anything about it and haven't seen each other since.”據訪談內容，顯然的，這首歌創作的情感和動力來源，是來自和他前任女友的偶遇！歌詞內容也和他當時描素的情景相當吻合。

這首歌也讓我想到了一種無力下的美麗！人生旅途裡，許多美好的景象，在面前閃過的時候，距離是如此近，卻又總是如此的消縱即逝、遙不可及和不真實。就像是場夢一樣，也許它永遠不會實現，但印入腦海的一刻，縱使只有短短數秒，那樣的美好卻依舊是令人難忘和開心的……
